Segun is senior faculty member with 20 years of diverse corporate experience. He started his career in Advertising as a copywriter . Thereafter, he did hard-nosed selling as a Compaq (how HP) computing solution specialist. He consolidated his career in FMCG by joining the British American Tobacco Group.His roles have exposed him to Corporate and Regulatory Affairs (Government relations, excise, policy development, corporate communication, Corporate Social Responsibility), Marketing (Brand and Consumer Marketing, Strategy, Sales- Trade Marketing & Distribution, Key Accounts Management) and People Development (Marketing Skills and Human Capital Development).

His most recent role as Director, Corporate and Regulatory Affairs for West African Markets gave him responsibility over 24 countries in West Africa, outside Nigeria. He has garnered international working experience in different countries within the sub-continent,along with participation in international forum e.g. part of anti-tobacco regulation advocacy delegation to WHO-FCTC meetings in Uruguay, Switzerland and South Korea.

Segun holds an MBA and has been exposed to world-class training programs with several certifications. He does love a bit of adventure and in 2009 won a Fellowship of the Earthwatch Institute Conservation program to Mount Mulanje, Malawi.
